  10.               1. PC-DOS (MS-DOS) 2.0 or higher.
  11.               2. 75K of disk space.
  12.               3. 150K of free memory.
  13.               4. A null-modem cable.
  14.               5. A free serial port (COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4) with a ...
  15.                    a) standard address (3F8h, 2F8h, 3E8h or 2E8h).
  16.                    b) compatible UART chip (8250, 82050, 16450).
  17.                    c) standard UART clock of 1.8432 MHz.

  28.               1. If  your are using your IBM-PC with Windows or OS/2, acti-
  29.                  vate  the  DOS  environment  by  clicking  the appropriate
  30.                  icon.
  31.             
  32.               2. Set  the default directory to the directory containing the
  33.                  Twin  Express  package. The following example assumes this
  34.                  to be the root directory on floppy disk A:
  35.

  39.               3. Examine file README.TXT for any last-minute changes:
  40.             
  41.                    TYPE  README.TXT
  42.             
  43.               4. Copy  the  file TWIN.EXE to a directory whose name appears
  44.                  in  the  search  path  of DOS (e.g. DOS, c, bin). This way
  45.                  you  can  run Twin Express from any directory and DOS will
  46.                  find  it.  You  can  use  the  PATH command to display the
  47.                  current  search  path.  The following example assumes that
  48.                  the DOS directory on disk C is in the search path:

  53.               5. Print the documentation file TWINDOC.TXT:

  57.               6. Connect  one  end  of  a null-modem cable to a serial port
  58.                  (COM1  is used by default) on the IBM-PC and the other end
  59.                  to  a  serial port on the remote computer. See section 1.4
